NCP to join Govt; RJD remains non-committal

New Delhi: The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) has decided to join the Congress-led coalition Government, even as the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) remained non-committal over the issue.

Earlier today (May 21, 2004), in a well-calculated move to mount pressure on Congress, RJD and NCP remained non-committal over joining the Government and said they would take a joint stand on the issue.
