Bangalore: The Government of Karnataka has today (May 22, 2004) announced the results of the Second year Pre-University Examination of March/April 2004, which was conducted from 30-03-2004 to 15-04-2004 in 615 centres. A total of 4,26,003 had appeared the examination.

Valuation of answer scripts were organised at Bangalore in 16 centres and 5 centres at Mysore and 5 at Belgaum from 28-04-2004 to 13-05-2004. A total of 12,000 examiners had valued the answer scripts.

Of the total students appeared, 2,08,710 students have passed and the State overall pass percentage is 48.99. The percentage of girls passed is 56.85 and that of boys is 43.49.

The results will be announced on 23-05-2004 at 4 hrs (IST) at all the colleges teaching Pre-University course in the State. The results are also available at www.indiainfo.com.
