Karnataka CLP leaves it to Sonia to select leader

Bangalore:
The Congress Legislature Party (CLP) in Karnataka today (May 24, 2004) authorised party president Sonia Gandhi to select the CLP leader.
This was announced to reporters by All India Congress Committee (AICC) general secretary and party observer Vilasrao Deshmukh after the CLP meeting.
