US looks forward to engaging with Manmohan: Mulford

US Ambassador to India David C Mulford
New Delhi: The US today (May 24, 2004) said it looked forward to engaging with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and his Council of Ministers on a "broad" array of substantive issues that will strengthen bilateral ties.

"I look forward to engaging with Prime Minister Singh and his Council of Ministers on a broad array of substantive issues that will strengthen and deepen our relations," US Ambassador David C Mulford said while congratulating Singh and all the Ministers on being sworn in to India's new Government.

"The US and India have a strong bilateral relationship based on common democratic values and shared interests," he said in a statement in New Delhi.
