CBSE class XII results for Delhi, Allahabad areas out

New Delhi: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) today (May 26, 2004) announced the Class XII results for Delhi and Allahabad regions covering seven States and Class X results for Ajmer and Chennai regions.

The Senior School Certificate Examination (Class XII) results for students who appeared from schools in New Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Orissa, West Bengal, Uttaranchal, Jharkhand and foreign countries were declared at 6.00 hrs (IST), a CBSE spokesperson said.

The class XII results of Ajmer, Chandigarh, Guwahati and Chennai regions, covering the rest of the country, were announced on Sunday (May 24, 2004).

The spokesperson said the results were posted on the CBSE websites www.cbse.nic.in, www.cbseresults.nic.in and www.results.nic.in.

Besides, students could also get to know their marks through SMS services of certain mobile phone operators.

Results were also available on telephone numbers 24357270 and 24357274 in Delhi, 95-11-24357270 and 95-11-24357274 in NCR and 011-24357270 and 011-24357274 in other parts of the country, the spokesperson said.

Over 3.5 lakh students appeared in the examinations.

CBSE also declared the results of Secondary School Examination (Class X) in 10 States and five Union Territories.

These are Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Dadra and Nager Haveli (all in Ajmer region), Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Pondicherry, Goa, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Daman and Diu and Lakshwadeep (all in Chennai region).
