New Delhi: The ruling United Progressive Alliance (UPA) today finalised the Common Minimum Programme (CMP) which will be released tomorrow (May 27, 2004).

RSP leader Abani Roy who attended the nearly four-hour meeting of the UPA told reporters later that Congress President Sonia Gandhi was elected as its Chairperson.

Roy said there was a broad consensus on the CMP at the meeting.

The CMP would be released tomorrow, he said.
