Al-Khobar: All the hostages taken by suspected al-Qaeda militants at a housing compound in this Saudi oil city have been freed, a soldier said after taking part in the operation.

"We freed all the hostages," the smiling soldier said after walking out of the six-storey building where the terrorists had holed up yesterday after twin attacks on oil company offices in which at least 17 people died in Al-Khobar.
