All issues with Bangladesh will be resolved: PM

New Delhi: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today (June 1, 2004) said all outstanding issues with Bangladesh would be resolved through sustained co-operation and consultations.

Singh conveyed this to visiting Bangladesh Foreign Minister M Morshed Khan who called on him as the special envoy of Bangladesh Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia.

"The Prime Minister of India said that relations between India and Bangladesh have received the highest importance and all outstanding issues would be resolved through consultations and sustained co-operation," a press release issued by Bangladesh High Commission here said.
