Sensex firm during morning trading, up 51 points

Mumbai: The Sensex opened on a firm ground and gained by another 51 points over previous close within ten minutes of the trading at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) today (June 2, 2004) on sustained buying support from operators.

The BSE Benchmark 30-share Index opened up at 4846.09 as against yesterday close of 4835.12 and later spurted to a high of 4885.97 at 10.05 a.m., a net gain of 50.85 points.
