Hyderabad: Popular film actor N Balakrishna, who was allegedly involved in a shoot-out incident, was arrested from a private hospital here today (June 6, 2004).

Police took him into custody at 03:30 hours (IST) and whisked him away through the rear door of the hospital, police said.

Later Balakrishna was produced before the fifth Metropolitan Magistrate, who ordered police to produce him tomorrow.

The judge also ordered police to readmit Balakrishna in Care Hospital.
