New Delhi: All India Football Federation president and Union Minister for Water Resources Priya Ranjan Dasmunshi was today (June 7, 2004) named the Chef de Mission of the Indian contingent for the Athens Olympic Games.

Indian Olympic Association (IOA) president Suresh Kalmadi, while announcing Dasmunshi's appointment, also released the list of 62 sportspersons who have qualified so far for the quadrennial event to be held in August.

The 62 sportspersons include among others the 16-member hockey team, six archers, nine athletes, eight shooters, seven wrestlers and four weightlifters and as many boxers.
