Jaipur: In a freak mishap, two fuel tanks fell off an Indian Air Force's MIG fighter aircraft in the deserts of Rajasthan today (June 8, 2004).

No one was injured in the incident which took place shortly after the aircraft took off from Uttarlai airbase in Barmer around 08:30 hours (IST), they said.

The cylindrical-shape tanks, about 10-feet-long, were found in Sindari, 65 kms from district headquarters Barmer, Superintendent of Police H S Ghumaria said.
