New Delhi: The 2004 Olympic flame arrived today (Jun 10, 2004) for the sixth leg of a global torch relay leading up to the Athens Games in August.

A lantern carrying the flame arrived at the Indira Gandhi International Airport at 10:00 hrs (IST) aboard a chartered Boeing 747 aircraft, painted in Olympic colours and dubbed "Zeus".

The flame was officially received by Indian Olympic Association president Suresh Kalmadi.
