Actor Balakrishna's wife surrenders before the court Friday, June 11 2004 14:02 Hrs (IST)

In a dramatic turn of events in the shooting incident involving Telugu cine star N Balakrishna, his wife Vasundhara Devi surrendered before a court today (Jun 11, 2004).
Vasundhara, who is a co-accused in the conspiracy to eliminate evidence in the incident, was facing section 201 (screening evidence) of IPC, went to the court and surrendered herself.
After obtaining the court's permission, the police is likely to question Vasundhara later in the day for her alleged involvement in trying to destroy evidence on the day of shooting incident, in which two persons, including a film producer B Suresh, got bullet injuries last week.
Meanwhile, police have recorded the statement of Ramakrishna, brother of the actor, who was said to be present at the time of incident in the house, police said adding that Ramakrishna is the only eyewitness of the incident.
