Govt proposes to talk to Hurriyat next month

New Delhi: Government today (June 11, 2004) said that talks with Hurriyat Conference would be held next month, if it was convenient to them. "As far as dialogue with the Hurriyat Conference goes, we think it can start in the month of July. If it is convenient to them," Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil told reporters at his first press conference after assuming office.
