Yashwant files papers for RS polls from Jharkhand

Ranchi: Senior BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) leader Yashwant Sinha today (Jun 16, 2004) filed nomination for Rajya Sabha elections from Jharkhand.

Sinha had unsuccessfully contested from Hazaribagh constituency in the recent Lok Sabha polls.

Tomorrow (Jun 17, 2004) is the last date for filing of papers.

Jharkhand has two seats for the biennial elections on June 28.
