Noted filmmaker Yash Johar in critical condition

Mumbai: Noted filmmaker Yash Johar was today (June 19, 2004) admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Leelavati Hospital with complaint of severe chest infection, hospital sources said.

"He is not completely out of danger," the sources said.

The septuagenarian was admitted this morning at 09:00 hours (IST) by his son Karan, sources said.

The filmmaker was admitted to the hospital with the history of fever and has been diagnosed to be suffering from severe chest congestion and "he is not completely out of danger", the hospital spokesperson said.

Johar has several films to his credit.
