Laloo Yadav inaugurates refrigerated van service

Patna: Keeping up his promise to feed fresh vegetables to denizens of metros and providing handsome return to farmers of Bihar, Railway Minister Laloo Prasad Yadav today (June 20, 2004) inaugurated refrigerated van service between Patna and Delhi.

The Railway Minister flagged off the inaugural run of refrigerator van attached with 2387 UP Patna-New Delhi Jansadharan Express at Rajendra Nagar terminal.

The refrigerator van having a total capacity of 17 tonne of vegetables, fruits and other eatables carried 8.15 tonne of vegetables on the inaugural run to the national capital today.
