The condition of noted film producer Yash Johar, undergoing treatment at Leelawati Hospital, continues to be critical today (Jun 21, 2004) and he has been put on life support system.
"There has been no significant change in his condition. He has been put on life support system since last evening," a spokesperson of the hospital said.
The septuagenarian filmmaker was admitted to the hospital on Saturday (Jun 19, 2004) with a history of fever and has been diagnosed to be suffering from severe chest infection.
Earlier this month, Johar had undergone a minor surgery at Bombay Hospital and was to go to London for medical treatment.
