PWG ultras reciprocate peace call, to hold talks
Tuesday, June 22 2004 09:35 Hrs (IST)

Hyderabad: Five days after Andhra Pradesh Government announced ceasefire, the outlawed People's War Group (PWG) today (Jun 22, 2004) reciprocated the gesture saying it would abide by the truce and would shortly announce the names of its emissaries to hold talks with the Government.

"We will not do anything that will violate the ceasefire. However, it should be noted that we are a banned organisation and it takes a while for us to communicate the message to our units," a statement issued in the name of the PWG central committee said.
