Asked if the meeting took a final decision on the hike in grant for NBS, Kohli, who presided in the absence of IIM-K Chairman, A C Muthiah, currently abroad, said further discussions would be held on the issue.

There was also no decision to increase the number of students to be admitted to the institution for the academic year, he said.

Human Resource Development Ministry representative, Sudeep Chaterjee, who also participated in the meet, said the HRDE Ministry would now be in a position to take a final decision of the fee structure with all the six IIMs in the country deciding to revert to the old fee structure.
