India, Pakistan Foreign Secretary-level talks begin

New Delhi: The two-day Foreign Secretary-level talks between India and Pakistan began in New Delhi today (Jun 27, 2004) with both sides likely to propose a slew of confidence-building measures (CBMs).

The talks between Foreign Secretary Shashank and his Pakistan counterpart Riaz Khokhar, who leads a nine-member delegation, would take up issues related to peace and security, including the CBMs.
