Sunday, June 27 2004 20:36 Hrs (IST)

New Delhi: Pakistan today (June 27, 2004) made it clear that resignation of Prime Minister Zafarulah Khan Jamali would have "no impact" on the Indo-Pak Foreign Secretary-level talks.

"This is an internal political dynamics. A transition has taken place... it is taking place," Pakistan Foreign Office spokesman Masood Khan told reporters here when asked if Jamali's resignation could have any effect on the dialogue process.

"It (the resignation) has had no impact on the talks between the two Foreign Secretaries," Khan added.
