New Delhi: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today (Jun 28, 2004) handed over a message for Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf as the two countries concluded their Foreign Secretary-level talks on a "positive" note while deciding to make the ongoing dialogue process "result-oriented".

The message was given to Pakistan Foreign Secretary Riaz Khokhar when he called on Singh at his official residence in New Delhi.

"He (the Prime Minister) has given me a message for the Pakistan President which I am carrying," Khokhar, who along with his delegation is cutting short his visit and returning home this evening, told reporters.

The Pakistan Foreign Secretary, who also met External Affairs Minister K Natwar Singh and National Security Adviser J N Dixit, described as "very good" his meeting with the Prime Minister.

"The Prime Minister was very gracious," Khokhar said.
