Bhupathi-Elena in mixed doubles quarterfinal

London: The top-seeded pair of Mahesh Bhupathi and Elena Likhovtseva has moved to the quarterfinals of mixed doubles event in the Wimbledon Grand Slam Tennis Championship.

The Indo-Russian pair defeated 15th seeded Daniel Nestor of Canada and Lina Krasnoroutskaya of Russia 6-3 7-6 (7-3) in their third round match yesterday.

In the quarterfinals, Bhupathi and Likhovtseva are pitted against unseeded Bob Bryan and Lindsay Davenport of USA, who got the better of Pavel Vizner of Czech Republic and Lisa McShea of Australia 6-2 6-3 in the other third round match.
