New Delhi: Portugal High Court has ordered the extradition of underworld don and 1993 Mumbai bomb blast accused Abu Salem to India, CBI sources said in New Delhi. The CBI received a communication to this effect today (July 19, 2004), the sources said. The High Court passed the order on July 14 along with the reasons for his extradition as the country's Supreme Court had asked the High Court to pass a reasoned order as to why Salem should be extradited.

Salem's girlfriend Monica Bedi was also ordered to be extradited to India last week.
