CBI files report in SC on Pappu Yadav's 'sneak' visit
Monday, July 19 2004 11:52 Hrs (IST)

New Delhi: The CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) today (July 19,2004) filed a report in the Supreme Court on the "sneak" visit of former MP Pappu Yadav to Madhepura constituency in Bihar even when he was under judicial custody in Ajit Sarkar murder case. As the report was in sealed cover the Court posted the matter for further hearing on Tuesday (July 20,2004)

The court also asked CBI to verify a recent newspaper report alleging that Yadav admitted himself to AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) for two years and used to go out of the hospital frequently to circumvent a Court order denying him permission to attend Parliament.
