Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala Government today (July 21, 2004) decided to issue photo identity cards to Non-resident Keralites (NRK) in the country and abroad, Chief Minister A K Antony said in Thiruvananthapuram.

Briefing reporters after a cabinet meeting, Antony said Government took the decision considering the demand of various NRK associations.

The card would enable NRKs to avail Government services on a priority basis, he said adding there were a lot of complaints from NRKs that they were facing difficulties while dealing with Government offices.
