Come back to Geneva, we need you: G-20 to Kamal Nath

New Delhi: Trade Ministers from G-20 and NG-5 today (July 30, 2004) asked Commerce Minister Kamal Nath to return to Geneva to participate in trade talks.

Kamal Nath left Geneva yesterday to join the Indian delegation that is accompanying Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in his visit to Thailand for attending BIMST-EC summit.

A revised version of draft text was released by WTO in Geneva this morning which is presently being studied and discussed by the delegations of India and other WTO member countries, an official release said.

The G-20 includes countries like Brazil, China, South Africa, Kenya while NG-5 include US, EU, Australia and Brazil, besides India.
