Another Godhra accused held; total nabbed 94 Tuesday, August 10 2004 14:19 Hrs (IST)

An absconding accused in the gruesome Godhra train carnage was today (Aug 10, 2004) arrested from Godhra town, police said.
The accused Rauf Abdul Majiid Dhensli alias Kamli was nabbed from Satpul Odha locality in the sensitive town by a team of anti-dacoity squad, Police Sub-Inspector R G Patel told sources.
Rauf, a resident of the highly sensitive Signal Falia area, owned a tea-stall on Platform Number 2 of Godhra railway station, Patel added.
With Rauf's arrest, the total number of those nabbed for their alleged involvement in the carnage has reached 94 while 36 are still at large, official sources said.
"We have intensified our search for the absconding accused and changed our strategy a bit to expedite the arrests," Patel said, adding, "police had barricaded entire Satpul Odha area after getting information that Rauf was
wandering there."
This is the second arrest of the train carnage accused within a week as on August 4, police had arrested one Usman Gani Coffeewala from Godhra.
