Athens: Suma Shirur was right on target to qualify for the final of the women's 10 m air rifle event while her more fancied compatriot Anjali Bhagwat was eliminated after finishing a poor 20th in the preliminary round of the Olympic shooting competition in Athens today (Aug 14, 2004).

Shirur finished seventh with a tally of 396/400 which included a perfect 100 in the third round while Anjali managed just 393.
