CET imbroglio: State wide bandh called on Aug 28

Mangalore: The Akhila Bharathiya Vidyarthi Parishat (ABVP) is organising a State-wide bandh on August 28 to protest against the alleged failure of the Government to find a solution to the CET (Common Entrance Test) imbroglio.

Suvrathkumar, State convenor of ABVP, told that the Government had not initiated any action so far to solve the problems of students.

Instead, "Govt is going hand-in-hand" with the private college management association COMED-K (Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka), he alleged.
