Thiruvananthapuram: Congress leader Oommen Chandy was today (Aug 31, 2004) sworn in as Kerala Chief Minister.

Governor RL Bhatia administered the oath of office and secrecy to Chandy at the Raj Bhavan in Thiruvananthapuram.

Chandy succeeds AK Antony, who resigned as Chief Minister on August 29.
