Russian siege: 250 hostages wounded, 5 kids die

Moscow: At least 10 dead taken from school in Russian hostage siege. Reports say fighting dying down, reports five children dead. All hostages evacuated from school gymnasium, reports said.

Thirteen militants escaped during storming of the school by Russian commandos, local law-enforcement officials were quoted as saying.

Regional emergency officials say 250 hostages wounded, including 180 children, in school seizure crisis.
