VHP leader Praveen Togadia arrested in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) international president Praveen Togadia was arrested by city police in Hyderabad today (Sep 6, 2004).

Togadia was arrested by Naryanaguda police in connection with a case registered against him in April last year for his provocative speech at a public meeting, Central Zonal DCP Srinivasulu said.

However, the VHP leader was later released.
