New Delhi: India's Davis Cup star Leander Paes and his Czech partner David Rikl have advanced to the doubles final in the US Open Grand Slam tennis championship in New York.

The 13th seeded duo beat Spain's Rafael Nadal and Tommy Robredo 6-3 6-3 in the semi-final yesterday (Sep 9, 2004).
