Bush reaffirms $three billion aid to Pakistan

New York: President Pervez Musharraf today (Sep 22, 204) met President George W Bush who reaffirmed Washington's commitment to give a $ three billion aid to Pakistan over five years for security and social sectors.

A joint statement issued after their breakfast meeting did not make any mention on any Indo-Pak issues nor the situation in the sub-continent.

The two countries also pledged to further expand their bilateral trade and investment and cooperation in science and technology.
