Former Union Minister V C Shukla resigns from BJP

Raipur: Senior political personality of Chhattisgarh and former Union Minister Vidya Charan Shukla today (Sep 22, 2004) resigned from the primary membership of BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party).

"I sent my resignation letter to BJP president Venkaiah Naidu today," Shukla said.

In his resignation letter, Shukla said he is resigning from the primary membership of BJP, which he joined just before the April Lok Sabha elections, and he hoped his resignation letter would be accepted by Naidu with immediate effect.
