New York: It was a surprise gift today (Sep 24, 2004) from Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf for Prime Minister Manmohan Singh who was given an album of old photographs of him in the school he studied in a village in West Punjab now in Pakistan where he was born.

Musharraf also presented a copy of Singh's school report card dug out from the archives.

A painting of Singh's village was also another pleasant surprise Musharraf came up with.
