Thane (Maha): Around 25 explosives, abandoned on the banks of river Kalu in Murbad taluk of the district, were recovered today (Oct 12, 2004), police said in Thane.

The explosives were recovered by police around 4 hrs (IST) today, according to District Superintendent of Police Ramraop Pawar.

A team of police officials from the headquarters have rushed to Murbad to carry out further investigations.
