Armed struggle will continue even after talks: PWG

Hyderabad: Asserting that there will be no compromise on its ideology, Peoples War Group (PWG) today (Oct 12, 2004) said it would pursue with its armed struggle irrespective of the outcome of the talks with Andhra Pradesh Government.

"The question of giving up armed struggle does not arise and the talks are part of our political strategy," PWG State secretary Ramakrishna, told sources in Hyderabad today.

The science teacher-turned extremist asserted that the ultimate goal of naxalites was to liberate people from the shackles of capitalist forces.

Ramakrishna, who was high on the wanted list till recently was speaking at a meet the press programme organised by State journalists union in Hyderabad. "Our dialogue will focus on broaching peoples problems and trying to find a solution to them. Our war is for peace and to find a way out to end the decades long exploitation of class enemies," they said.
