People's War ultras blast block office in Jharkhand

Medininagar (Jharkhand): People's War activists blew up a block office in Palamu district in the early hours today (Oct 14, 2004).

The superintendent of police, M L Meena, said that around hundred PW activists raided the Lesliganj block office, 15 km from the district headquarters in Medininagar, around 1 hrs (IST) and exploded dynamites inside the office.

The ultras had left a note owning responsibility for the destruction of half the structure and important files, Meena said.

There was no casualty in the incident.
