M'rashtra CM race: NCP has 4 JSS MLA's in its kitty Tuesday, October 19 2004 19:35 Hrs (IST)

Jan Surajya Shakti (JSS), which bagged four seats in the just concluded Assembly polls in Maharashtra, today (Oct 19, 2004) extended support to Sharad Pawar-led NCP (Nationalist Congress Party).
JSS chief and newly-elected MLA, Vinay Kore told reporters in Mumbai that his party had submitted a letter of support to NCP following detailed discussion with Pawar and NCP's State unit chief R R Patil.
Kore, a former NCP MLA, who had recently launched JSS, said his party has also urged NCP leadership that Patil be made the Chief Minister of the State.
Besides Kore, other JSS elected legislators were, Narsinh Patil (Chandgad), Harshawardhan Deshmukh (Morshi) and Rajeev Awle (Peth-Wadgaon).
