Kalmadi re-elected as IOA president for third time

New Delhi: Suresh Kalmadi was unanimously re-elected president of the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) for his third four-year term at the Annual General Meeting in New Delhi today (Nov 1, 2004).

Kalmadi was also appointed chairman of the Organising Committee, set up for 2010 Commonwealth Games to be hosted by New Delhi.

Kalmadi said the other committees and sub-committees for the mega event, being held in India for the first time, would be put in place during the next two months.
