Suspended Uma Bharati is unwell and is advised rest

New Delhi: Suspended BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) leader Uma Bharti is reportedly unwell and has been advised rest, sources close to her said today (Nov 11, 2004).

A doctor is understood to have visited her at her Vasant Kunj residence in South West Delhi and advised her to take some rest, the sources said in New Delhi.

Former party general secretary and Sangh Parivar ideologue, K N Govindacharya, considered close to her, was among those who met her this morning.

Swadeshi Jagran Manch All India Convenor Murlidhar Rao also met her.

Sources said she may visit RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh) headquarters later in the day.
