Best Bakery case: Zaheera's brother turns hostile

Mumbai: Nasibullah Shaikh, brother of prime witness in Best Bakery case Zaheera Shaikh, today (Nov 18, 2004) retracted his police statement by telling the trial court in Mumbai that he did not remember the faces of those persons who had set fire to the bakery two years back.

Spotlight: Godhra-Chilling stories of the victims

Nasibullah is the fifth eyewitness to depose before the court. Other witnesses have identified some accused.

In his earlier police statement, Nasibullah had named some accused and specified their role in attacking the bakery.
