JK separatist leaders to meet Pak PM in Delhi

Srinagar: Kashmiri separatist leaders, including Syed Ali Shah Geelani and Shabir Ahmed Shah, will meet Pakistan Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz in Delhi during his two-day visit of the country from Tuesday (Nov 23, 2004).

Geelani, who leads the hardline faction of Hurriyat Conference, left for Delhi today. He was accompanied by two members of the faction - Ashraf Sahrai and Sofi Mohammed Yousuf, Hurriyat sources said.

Spotlight: Kashmir is NOT negotiable

Shabir Shah, the president of Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party, has also left for the national capital on similar mission.

Aziz is to discuss the formula put forth by Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf with the Hurriyat leaders for resolution of the Kashmir issue before he presents it to the Indian leaders, the sources said.

The moderate faction of Hurriyat Conference leaders, who have also received an invitation from Pakistan High Commission, are schedule to leave for Delhi tomorrow, they added.
