'Shankaracharya yet to decide on moving SC for bail'

Kancheepuram: The Kanchi Seer Jayendra Saraswathi was yet to decide on moving the Supreme Court seeking bail, the Seer's counsel Y Thiagarajan said today (Nov 22, 2004).

'As of today we have not decided on moving the Supreme Court,' he told reporters soon after the court rejected police plea seeking extension of the three-day police custody by one more day.

'We have gone through the High Court order. It does not preclude us from approaching the High Court again.
