Party revamp: BJP announces new appointments

New Delhi: Senior BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) leader and former Union Minister Pramod Mahajan has been appointed in-charge of Maharashtra and former Chief Minister Kalyan Singh has been given the charge of Uttar Pradesh, party sources said.

General Secretary Arun Jaitley has been made in-charge of Bihar and Madhya Pradesh, Kalraj Mishra of Rajasthan and Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi of Himachal Pradesh.

Jaitley will also look after the Media Cell, the sources said.

Former Information and Broadcasting Minister Ravishankar Prasad has been appointed in charge of Legal and Investor cell.
