JMM leader Sibu Soren re-inducted into Cabinet

New Delhi: JMM (Jharkhand Mukti Morcha) leader Sibu Soren, who had to quit the Union Cabinet in the wake of an arrest warrant against him in connection with the 1975 Chirudih massacre in Jamtara in Jharkhand, was today (Nov 27, 2004) re-inducted into the Ministry.

President A P J Abdul Kalam administered the oath of office and secrecy to Soren at a simple ceremony at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and several of his ministerial colleagues were present on the occasion.

Soren had quit the Union Cabinet on July 24.
